The HVP centre is on a short track.
A bumpy connecting road 30 walk minutes from
the main road linking Butare to Kigali.
However, once one gets to the main road it becomes
easy to get public transport (minibusses),
that go to the nearby market towns of Nyanza and Ruhango,
or north to the capital Kigali, or south to the town of Butare.
Transport by road is generally good.
It is 87km from Kigali, and the nearest towns,
Nyanza and Ruhango, are 10km away.
